The UNESCO International Institute for Higher Education in Latin-America and the Caribbean IESALC and the Latin-America and the Caribbean Open Science Forum CILAC have just sent the CILAC Forum – UNESCO IESALC Survey for Higher Education Institutions about the impact of COVID-19 on research. The survey is addressed to governing bodies of higher education institutions in Latin-America and the Caribbean. Its objective is to gather data related to the way that COVID-19 is affecting research and how institutions are contributing to the search of crisis solutions.

This action takes part of the CILAC Forum and IESALC´s commitment with research. University authorities are kindly invited to fill the format of the survey.

The Survey CILAC Forum – UNESCO IESALC for higher education institutions about the impact of COVID-19 on research is part of an exploratory work which results will strengthen the networking that searches to counter the negative effects of the pandemic on academic research. Higher education inputs will properly be reflected in the documents as well on the UNESCO IESALC website.
