Description

The Program for Strengthening Improvement Plan Projects is based on training and technical advice for the transfer of knowledge, in order to ensure that competencies and skills are installed in the organizations to strengthen the continuity of the transformation processes.

The program takes place at the IESALC Campus and consists of an itinerary of activities that combine synchrony and asynchrony activities through master classes with experts and technical assistance sessions to resolve doubts, as well as collaborative work sessions with specialized mentors. It also includes technical advice in which an expert mentor supports the university team in the design and reformulation of its improvement plan.

It is composed of two axes of knowledge (Agility and Quality) and Virtual tours are made to other HEIs to strengthen experiential learning through the exchange of good practices and thus consolidate social learning, while strengthening institutional ties and thus strategic alliances and areas of collaboration.

Finally, an Intelligent Route is offered, consisting of specific seminars aligned with the institution’s Improvement Plan.

Objetives

  • Understand change management as a constant and how agile methodologies are the reference framework for managing projects in changing contexts.
  • Apply the logical framework methodology as a diagnostic technique based on the introduction to design thinking.
  • Highlight the importance of the Improvement Plan as an instrument of institutional orientation, consistent with the educational model and the strategic plan.
  • Recognize monitoring and evaluation indicators as a strategy to validate the degree of fulfillment and impact of an Improvement Plan.
  • Analyze theoretical and practical items for the preparation of the budget for the Improvement Plan.

Modules

The modules to be addressed are those corresponding to the Agility Program and the Quality Program:

Finally, with the objective of learning first hand and in an immersive way, solutions implemented in other institutions, a series of Virtual Tours to different areas are carried out in order to share best practices implemented and thus consolidate social learning, while strengthening institutional ties and strategic alliances and areas of collaboration.
