Research

As part of its programs IESALC produces and disseminates studies on the state of higher education from a comparative perspective based on evidence and intended to provide recommendations and guidance that inform processes of government and institutional public policy formulation.

Currently, the Institute is developing the following studies and research with its team of analysts. Some of them are already available and can be downloaded:

The UNESCO Report on Higher Education in Latin America and the Caribbean is being prepared. It addresses advances in quality and equity in the region, including references to ongoing reforms or new initiatives and their link to guidelines of the III Regional Conference of Higher Education (CRES 2018)

Preparatory work for the development of the UNESCO-IESALC Higher Education Institutions Sustainability Index is underway.
