Legal Framework

Higher Education Law General Regulations of the Law Academic Norms of the Higher Education Level

Institutional actors and operational instances

Directorate of Higher Education Studies Validation Dept.

Documentation required in order to initiate the recognition process

1. The petitioner must submit an application to the Directorate of Higher Education, which must be downloaded, filled out and printed.

2. Original degree or diploma with its respective authentication or apostille and its translation, if not in Spanish, and a letter size photocopy.

3. Original Certification of Studies duly authenticated or apostilled that includes the valuation units or credits and its translation if not in Spanish, and a letter size photocopy.

4. Synthesis of the program of each of the subjects of the Study Plan duly legalized and authenticated. In the absence of this, the corresponding official catalog of the center where he/she completed his/her studies. In case it is not in Spanish, it must be accompanied by its respective translation.
