Documentation required in order to initiate the recognition process

Those interested in the process of recognition or registration of degrees (Chilean or foreign), must have obtained their degree in one of the countries with which Chile has signed treaties:

-Bilateral Treaties:

Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Uruguay.

-Multilateral Treaties:

Bolivia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Peru.

Regarding professional degrees obtained in other countries, those interested should consult the Titles and Degrees Office of the Pro rectoría de la Universidad de Chile.

The following steps must be followed through the platform of the (On-line Application System for the Recognition or Registration of Degrees): plataforma del Sistema de solicitud on-line de Reconocimiento o Registro de Títulos.

1. Enter the documents to the platform.
2. Interview and submission of documentation.
3. Delivery of Digital Certificate
