The International Association of Universities (IAU) and partners are pleased to invite all Universities and Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) to take the Second IAU Global Survey on the Impact of COVID-19 on Higher Education.

Aimed at gathering substantial data on the ways global higher education systems are affected by the pandemic from an institutional standpoint, the Survey includes questions about the challenges encountered in four different areas: Governance and financing, teaching and learning, research, and societal/community engagement.

The results will be shared not only within the international higher education community but also among global policy and decision-makers. Accordin to the organizers, “IAU endeavors to raise concerns of universities and other HEIs in the current context by providing evidence-based data to underline the seriousness of the impact of COVID-19 on higher education and society at the global level.” Finally, the survey report will feed into the UNESCO World Higher Education Conference – a multistakeholder intergovernmental event aimed at defining the future of higher education.

Further details about this call and access to the survey is available in English, French, and Spanish

The survey is open until 1 June 2021
