With the aim of facilitating access to the reports made by UNESCO IESALC, the Institute launches a series of webcasts available to the public that begins with a presentation on the impacts of COVID-19 on higher education, presented by the its director, Francesc Pedró.

“We are practically facing a situation of heroism of students and teachers,” Pedró indicates at the beginning of his presentation to give an idea of what it has meant to resort to distance education in a hasty way to maintain pedagogical continuity.

This webcast summarizes the recent report published by the Institute under the title of “COVID-19 and higher education: Today and tomorrow. Impact analysis, policy responses and recommendations” with the results of the impact analysis caused by the coronavirus pandemic in higher education.
