Web Seminar: Reflections on the Challenges of Virtuality and the AUGM Regional Postgraduate Course

The Permanent Commission for Postgraduate Studies of the Asociación de Universidades Grupo Montevideo (AUGM) (Association of Universities Grupo Montevideo) carried out the webinar: Reflections on the challenges of Virtuality and the AUGM Regional Postgraduate Course, on June 10th, 2020.

During the session, the director of the UNESCO International Institute for Higher Education in Latin America and the Caribbean (IESALC), Francesc Pedró, presented the topic of virtuality and its challenges in the post-pandemic COVID-19; the director of Postgraduate Degrees at the Universidad de Chile (University of Chile), Alicia Salomone, discussed the challenges and opportunities of digitization for postgraduate training at the University of Chile; the Vice-Rector for Postgraduate Studies at the Universidad de Santiago de Chile (University of Santiago de Chile), Cristian Parker, addressed the issue of distance teaching in postgraduate studies under conditions of sanitary emergency and the secretary of Virtual Education at the Universidad Nacional de Quilmes (National University of Quilmes), Walter Campi, presented the limits and possibilities for e-learning. AUGM Executive Secretary, Alvaro Maglia, was the moderator.
