Call for the nomination of candidates to IESALC’s Governing Board

The Secretariat of the Governing Council of the UNESCO Institute for Higher Education in Latin America and the Caribbean (IESALC), in compliance with the Statutes and Regulations in force, opens a new call for the Councils of Rectors of Latin America and the Caribbean, or their national equivalents, to nominate two (2) national candidates whose academic and professional merits – of regional and international scope – allow raising such applications for the consideration of the Director-General of UNESCO, with the latter having the prerogatives for the election and designation of the new Board Members. Nominations should be sent to Mr. José Antonio Quinteiro (ja.quintero@unesco.org), including the curriculum vitae for the nominated candidates. This call closes on December 20, 2019 (Caracas time).
