Enrollments open for the Global Lesson in Social and Emotional Learning of the UNESCO MGIEP

The UNESCO Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Education for Peace and Sustainable Development (MGIEP) and Life University´s Centre for Compassion, Integrity and Secular Ethics (CCISE) launched the lesson on Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) for world´s youth, from 18 to 34 years old, on 21st September, 2020,  declared the International Day of Peace. The lesson is from the Compassionate Integrity Training (CIT) course which cultivates skills such as empathy, mindfulness, and compassion so youth are well-equipped to contribute towards the development of peaceful and sustainable societies. The UNESCO Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Education for Peace and Sustainable Development (MGIEP) and Life University´s Centre for Compassion, Integrity and Secular Ethics (CCISE) launched the lesson on Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) for world´s youth, from 18 to 34 years old, on 21st September, 2020,  declared the International Day of Peace. The lesson is from the Compassionate Integrity Training (CIT) course which cultivates skills such as empathy, mindfulness, and compassion so youth are well-equipped to contribute towards the development of peaceful and sustainable societies.

The enrollments are open from 12 August, 2020 on the International Day for Youth and who enroll in the lesson will be automatically eligible to take the full CIT course free of cost when it launches in late 2020.

UNESCO Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Education for Peace and Sustainable Development (UNESCO MGIEP) focuses on achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goal 4.7 towards education for building peaceful and sustainable societies across the world by developing programmes that promote social and emotional learning, innovate digital pedagogies and empower youth.
