Innovation Forum at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid
15 September 2022 hora: 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
This forum will highlight the social value of innovation and the transfer of knowledge from the university to its human and business environment in order to make its mission effective, as well as to involve the different agents of the ecosystem in the common challenge of “innovation at the service of people”.
UC3M’s knowledge transfer is not only a factor of business impulse, but must also be considered in its social, ethical and civil aspect, as a generator of social value and at the service of the community.
This consideration reinforces the broad vision of knowledge transfer, far from the obsolete economistic conception, and is aligned with the Social Responsibility of the University (RSU) and its duty to return the investment made by citizens in this public service.
Victoria Galán Muros, Head of Research and Analysis at UNESCO IESALC, will participate with the paper “The transfer and the social and economic impact of research”.
