International Forum on Innovation in Higher Education: INN KIND

The International Forum on Innovation in Higher Education: INN-KIND will bring together the actors that are part of the Panamanian higher education ecosystem on September 14, 15 and 16 with the aim of providing tools to decision makers, from the best practices of successful institutions in Latin America, in order to advance in the demands and needs that society acclaims in terms of education. Its specific objectives are:

• Share valuable knowledge and successful experiences of different institutions in the current changing scenario.
• Highlight existing opportunities and understand how to include them in institutional roadmaps.
• Generate synergies among institutions to incorporate good practices linked to digital transformation.
• Design strategies to enhance quality and growth in Panama’s higher education institutions.

On the first day of the event, Francesc Pedró, director of the UNESCO International Institute for Higher Education in Latin America and the Caribbean (IESALC), will discuss international trends in the transformation of higher education. His presentation will be at 9:30 a.m. (Panama time, GMT -5).
