“Educational Strategies and Innovations in the era of digitalization”

The conference “Educational Strategies and Innovations in the era of digitalization” is organized by a consortium of public organizations, including Taalim-Forum, Kyrgyzstan (leading organization), Anahita, Tajikistan and Nomadic Nature Conservation (NNC), Mongolia. The conference is held within the framework of the project “Distance learning to improve the quality and access to education in Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia and Tajikistan”. The project is implemented within the framework of the Knowledge and Innovation Exchange Program (GPE KIX) and funded by the International Development Research Center (IDRC, Canada).
The conference is held in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic (MES), in partnership with the American University of Central Asia. It will be held on October 5-6, 2022 in English, Russian and Kyrgz.
The conference is intended for researchers, experts, teachers and managers in the field of education. The participants will have a unique platform for expanding professional dialogue, exchanging views and experience in the use and implementation of innovative approaches, distance learning technologies to address pressing issues in national education systems, identify new opportunities, strategies and tools to ensure equal access and improve the quality of education.
On October 4th, Emma Sabzalieva, Head of Research and Foresight at UNESCO IESALC, will give the Open Lecture “Digital Future? Virtual Academic Mobility and Prospects for Change in Higher Education in Central Asia”, from 13h45 to 14h45 (Kyrgyzstan time GMT+6).
