The right to higher education for refugee and forcibly displaced students: Dialogue and strategies for empowerment

Organized by Durban University of Technology (DUT, South Africa) in partnership with NGO Kiron Open Higher Education, and the UNESCO International Institute for Higher Education in Latin America and the Caribbean (IESALC), the event The right to higher education for refugee and forcibly displaced students: Dialogue and strategies for empowerment marks World Refugee Day by celebrating and honouring refugees from around the world. This multi-level event will count on the participation of refugee/forcibly displaced students, who will share their stories and discuss strategies for higher education success.

The event will have simultaneous interpretation in English, Spanish and Arabic.
