Forum Practices and Challenges in the Training of Sustainable Citizens and for the SDGs 2030 | Colombia

The Institución Universitaria Colombo Americana (Colombo American University Institution – ÚNICA) organizes the forum Practices and Challenges in the Training of Sustainable Citizens and for the SDGs 2030, aimed at generating a space for the exchange of perspectives, understanding and reflection on training for sustainability in various educational environments; and at generating exchange and collaboration networks.
The forum will be held on Friday, December 2, from 7h00 to 1h00 (virtual modality) and Saturday, December 3, from 8h00 to 12h00 with a guided tour of the Santa María del Lago wetland environmental classroom in Bogota.
On December 2, from 7:10 to 7:45h, Yuma Inzolia, Head of Learning and Capacity Development at UNESCO IESALC, will present a balance of the work done by the institute regarding the development of capacities for the training of sustainable citizens and for the SDGs 2030, successful experiences in Latin America and the Caribbean, and the challenges and pending challenges in the region.
If you are a teacher, school or university student, researcher, social, community or environmental manager, social entrepreneur, businessperson or work in public administration in Colombia, you can participate in the virtual forum by sending a summary of your presentation on an experience, pedagogical or research practice that you have carried out related to the training of sustainable citizens and for the SDG 2030.
