A New Beginning: The next decade of higher education in the Americas

Join higher education leaders and experts at QS Americas 2021 conference and exhibition to discuss “A New Beginning: The next decade of higher education in the Americas” on 1 September 2021 at 9:00 a.m. (California time, GMT- 7).

After twenty years of significant advancement in the provision of education, many countries within the Americas are now positioning themselves as a destination of choice for international students. The inaugural QS Americas event unpacks how the 2020s could become the decade of higher education through the region.

The event will feature keynotes, debates, panel discussions, and case studies and will offer several opportunities to network with the international higher education community and build strategic partnerships. Victoria Galán-Muros, UNESCO IESALC Chief of Research and Analysis, will participate from 9:25 a.m. to 10:25 a.m. (California time, GMT- 7) in the track 1: North, South, East, West (and Central) with the conference A New Beginning: The next decade of higher education in the Americas along with Watson Scott Swail, President and Senior Research Scientist at the Educational Policy Institute and Claudia Costin, Founder and Director of the Center for Excellence and innovation in Education Policies (CEIPE FGV). André Dua, Senior Partner at McKinsey and Company, will be the moderator of the event.
