Gender equality, how do Latin American universities perform?

On Tuesday, November 8, 2022, from 8:00h to 12:00h (Guatemala time GMT-6), the Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala (USAC) is organizing the academic activity “Women, leadership and public higher education institutions”, within the framework of the III International Congress and XVI Congress of University Women.

The inaugural lecture “Gender equality, how do Latin American universities perform?”, scheduled from 9:30h to 11:30h, will be given by the UNESCO IESALC/UFPE  researcher Daniele Vieira, who will be accompanied by María Isabel Rodríguez, academic, feminist and honorary doctorate from the USAC. Lucrecia Vicente, coordinator of the teaching area of the Instituto Universitario de la Mujer IUMUSAC, will moderate the event.

The event will be broadcasted through facebook live of the newspaper Caminante USAC and the YouTube channel of the SFPU USAC.
