Book launching “Inter and Transdisciplinary in University Higher Education: Reflections from Latin America”

The University of Chile will launch the book “Inter and Transdisciplinary in University Higher Education: Reflections from Latin America” which aims to disseminate the document and make visible the inter- and transdisciplinary work and experiences in higher education in Latin America.
Through a panel discussion, whose central axis is to deepen the contents addressed in the book, they seek to answer the question: how does the science system and the production of scientific knowledge connect with the development of public policies on higher education in Latin America and the Caribbean?, in order to make progress in solving the complex problems of the 21st century and, especially, in the challenges of sustainability in the face of climate change and increased uncertainty in contemporary society.
Débora Ramos, academic specialist at UNESCO IESALC, is part of the panel discussion.
The event will be held in virtual format on Thursday, October 6 between 10:30 and 11:30 (Chilean time GMT-3) and will be broadcast on the Youtube channel of the Inter- and Transdisciplinary Network EneAS of the University of Chile.
The panel will have simultaneous translation into English.
