In the Greening Education Hub at COP28, Frances Pedró, Director of UNESCO IESALC, highlighted the problems of sustainability in higher education in the Global South, where less than 10% of young people have access to education.
The deadline to answer the II Global Study has been extended to December 15, 2023.
A total of 80 people participated in the workshop, including coordinators of the quality areas of UNE's faculty, teachers and administrative staff, led by professional experts from Spain, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico and Venezuela.
Attendees from 13 countries evaluated the current challenges for academic processes, taking into account the irruption of generative artificial intelligence and the integration of educational platforms on the web, their opportunities and risks.
